My paintings are a personal exploration of both literal and emotional places I’ve been to. Through abstraction I can re-experience these places beyond a literal or realistic translation through finding a connection or memory through marks, gestures, colour and relationships of space. Art for me has always been about telling the truth about myself.
Felicity has been selected as a finalist in multiple art prizes including the Muswellbrook art prize, the Hunters Hill Art Prize, the Blacktown Art Prize, the Waverley Art Prize and the Korea-Australia Arts Foundation prize. She has also been a seven times finalist in the Gosford Art Prize.
She was awarded 'Highly Commended' for the Contemporary Art Award and was awarded a commission of 75 works for the Sir Norman Foster Building, 'Lumiere', Regents Place, Sydney in 2006.
She currently enjoys working from her home studio on the N.S.W. Central Coast.
